Wrapping Up
Since last time...
(1) Thoughts and prayers to those affected by the Virginia Tech tragedy. I know so many people there. When I heard the news, it made my stomach sink. I can't imagine how hard it's been on everyone.
(2) I thought hike night was crazy last year. Well this year topped it by far. Although different kinds of craziness. But enough to make me slightly embarrassed.
(3) Hopefully I am done with Sankar's work. Unless he tells me the write-up is complete garbage (which it is) and makes me rewrite it, I am done with seasonality index of streamflow forever! And he's not Yuter, so I'm pretty hopeful!
(4) What horrible devastation in Greensburg, KS. The first EF-5 since the new scale was introduced, and possibly the first F-5 on the old scale since the 1999 Moore, OK tornado. And then the same area gets slammed the next two days. You have to feel sorry for them. On a side note, I was quite impressed with the coverage by KWCH and KSNW, which I watched via online streaming. The meteorologists did a great job of keeping on top of everything, and using the radar software efficiently. The radar signatures are so impressive out there... nothing like we get around here.
So yeah... I'm done with my undergraduate education. How did the past four years go by so quickly? Especially the past year? It seems like yesterday that we went to the zoo and all that fun stuff. I'm definitely going to miss this place, but more importantly, all my great friends. I thought I had a lot to write... but I'm guess I'm not in a sappy mindset right now. This might be continued later :P. Graduation Saturday!!
