The Project's Over
We finished the website project today. I believe we accomplished everything we were supposed to and left things well organized. It may not be the best or prettiest, but we got the job done. You can see what we did at the MESO Website ... we did the hurricane and winter weather sections.
So that means I'm moving back home this Friday, leaving Casey all by his lonesome. Over the weekend we are heading up to West Virginia to visit relatives, and then spending the rest of the week at my grandparents' house in Pennsylvania. This of course is my favorite road trip, and it may be the last time I make it in this form. Lots of pictures will be taken, especially of the roads and mountains (lol).
Now that the 10pm edition of WTVD's newscasts has come to fruition, it was a bunch of hype (well, on my part) about nothing. It is literally the same as the rest of ABC 11's newscasts. The only things that are different are the open voiceover and some subtle WB22 logos in the graphics. The 5:30 crew (Steve Daniels and Tisha Powell) anchors. Unfortunately, former WLFL anchor/current WTVD reporter Tamara Gibbs has no role in the newscast (unless it's on weekends). Will be interesting to see how the ratings come out and how they handle the affiliation switch to The CW this fall (considering they have "WB22" everywhere).
Posts will probably be a little more sparse the rest of the summer, considering my vacations and one-line-dialup internet limitations at home (as if I posted a lot when I had constant internet...). So everyone have a fun summer, and don't be afraid to keep in touch.
