Honors

I joined the Phi Kappa Phi honor society last fall. Tonight I've been invited to their spring induction ceremony because they're honoring all seniors with 4.0 GPA's. Of course, I'm a senior by hours only and won't be graduating until next spring. But I didn't hesitate to accept the invite, because only two things can happen to my GPA over the next year, and one of them is going down. It's all very *wink wink* on my part, so hopefully no one asks me questions related to graduating tonight and/or I don't offend anyone by my third-year status.

Off to studying for Riordan's dynamics test. I don't feel as worried about this one as the first. But maybe I should be, since he's giving us 2 "cheat sheets," which he has never done before. I expect concepts to make up a lot of this test, or small variations to what we've done in class, to try to catch us off guard. We shall see.

Opening Remarks

Well I have a blog. I never thought I'd do this, but for some reason I got an urge. I may not ramble when I talk, but I sure as heck can when I write. One small dilemma: I lead an extremely boring life (the original reason why I never thought this would work). So in all likelihood, my posts will boil down to: (1) the Pittsburgh Steelers or some type of sports talk, (2) local TV news and associated topics (music, graphics, personalities, fan sites, etc.), (3) road trips or other highway related chatter, or (4) obviously, the weather. So I don't blame you if you get bored.

First shout out goes to Casey, Kristin, and Kelly K. for surprising me with cupcakes for my birthday. The icing was great! You're all awesome.

Maybe this will work out, maybe it won't. Feel free to let me know what you think, or even stuff you want to hear me talk about. It should be interesting.
