While I Have a Moment

So I guess September is half over. The workload is reaching crazy levels... lots of meteorology stuff to do this weekend. And I'm still going to have to find time to set up GRE's and research grad schools. Definitely not fun. I also applied for an undergraduate research project with Dr. Parker (who I worked with last summer), so if some how I get that, it will really push me to my limits. But it will look good on grad school applications.

I took Casey and Kristin to SoBo last week to a Comets football game. Being that they're not from Hicksville, I don't think they were impressed with the area as much as Austin and Tim were last year. But Casey said the Comets were the most impressive football team he watched last weekend (the others being the Wolfpack and Panthers). QB Pippen had something like 272 yards passing and 94 rushing. We won 54-28 over Dinwiddie. Wish we had more time to visit, but that's the way it goes. We did have some quality Italian Delight for dinner (hope they thought the same) with mom and dad though.

Well it's been a week since Granny passed away. The funeral was so nice and it meant so much seeing people from church and my mom's school at the funeral home (an hour's drive). Thanks to anyone who has been thinking/praying about me and my family. I'm sure she's up in Heaven watching baseball and eating a hotdog with everything on it.
